How It All Started
In 1992 William & Stella Hart purchased 7000 acres of land southeast of Hanna on what is now Hart Ranches. Initially specializing in artificial insemination of cattle, they adjusted the operation to become a regenerative cattle ranch. They raised their children to be ranchers. Eventually passing on the family ranch to current owner Mike Hart.
Mike along with his wife Laura are committed to improving their land. Retaining the natural beauty of the Alberta prairie landscape. They are avid outdoor enthusiasts and conservationists.

Grass-fed cattle that graze in open fields during the spring, summer and fall months.

In winter cattle are fed hay harvested in the fall from Hart Ranches land.

Goats are used to graze on buckbrush and prepare the land for reseeding grasses.
